Blue Lakes basin from the Mount Sneffels summit. Partially in shadow is the upper Blue Lake; the middle Blue Lake is on the right side if the image, and barely visible behind the canyon wall is the brilliantly-colored Lower Blue Lake. My tent is between the Upper and Middle Blue Lakes. The Blue Lakes Pass is on the ridgeline in the lower left of this image.
