| These images were all taken using Kodak High Speed Infrared film. The film captures near infrared wavelengths in addition to visible light, resulting in ghostly white foliage and nearly black skies. This film has recently been discontinued, a victim of the tectonic shift from film to digital in the world of photography. While it is possible to simulate the "look" of infrared with Photoshop, we will miss the real thing. | |||
